I’m a big fan of homemade mango salsa. I don’t see too many people making mango salsa at home. It’s just not something most people think of making. But I personally make mango salsa a lot! Mango salsa is really easy to make, uses few ingredients and tastes great. Mango salsa is bursting with flavor and puts an exotic slant on an otherwise plain meal.
You too will be making mango salsa at home when you see how easy it is. Here’s my step-by-step picture guide to making mango salsa yourself.
To make mango salsa, you need the following 3 ingredients:
1 small onion
1 bunch of cilantro

Step 1 Of Making Mango Salsa:
Peel And Dice A Mango
Peel a mango with a vegetable peeler.
Cut the mango into slices and discard the pit. Chop each slice into small cube-shaped pieces. For more details how to do it, see the link How To Dice A Mango
You should end up with the mango cut up like this:
Put this chopped mango into a bowl.
Step 2 Of Making Mango Salsa
Peel and chop the onion
First, peel the onion. For instructions how to do it, see the link: How To Peel An Onion
Then, chop an onion into small pieces. First, cut the onion in half, then cut each half into long parallel slices, then cut across at a 90 degree angle into small squares, like shown on the picture below:

Add the onion to the mango in the bowl:
Step 3 Of Making Mango Salsa
Chop the cilantro
Wash the cilantro and chop it into small pieces. For more details on how to do it, see How To Chop Cilantro

Next, add the chopped cilantro to the bowl with chopped mango and onion:

Mix all ingredients
Take a spoon and mixed chopped mango, onion and cilantro until everything is combined. Enjoy your mango salsa!
