Quinoa is a very healthy and tasty grain. Quinoa is much healthier than white rice or couscous. Give quinoa a try – it is so tasty and easy to make, that it will certainly be added to your rotation of side dishes!
Cooking quinoa on the stove is exactly the same as cooking rice. Use a 1:2 ratio of quinoa to water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. If you are using packaged quinoa, there is no need to rinse it before cooking (only rinse it if you are buying your quinoa from the bulk bin).
