How To Make Double Chocolate Banana Bread

Making this amazing chocolate banana bread is as easy as it gets.  It’s a one-bowl recipe, where everything gets dumped in one bowl and mixed.  First mash the bananas with a fork in a bowl and add the liquid ingredients: oil, eggs and vanilla. Next, add the dry ingredients – flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda – and mix.  Finally, add the chocolate chips and mix. Pour the batter in a greased loaf pan, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top and bake in pre-heated 350F over for 50 minutes.  That’s it! This has become a staple in our household. I’m pretty sure the kids conspire to leave the last 3 bananas so I “have to” make this recipe. I’ve substituted different chips and added flavors over the last couple years, and it’s all been fabulous!
