Dinner At Las Palmas Restaurant In Highland Park

We’ve had a great dinner at Las Palmas Mexican restaurant in Highland Park (Chicago suburbs).  They have the best ceviche ever! I’ve tried ceviche in many Mexican restaurants, and my favorite place to get ceviche in Chicago area is Las Palmas.

The meal starts with the complimentary chips and salsa dipping sauce.  It’s so fun to munch on these chips before the food arrives!

Las Palmas ceviche is huge, it’s enough for 2 people to share as an appetizer.  Ceviche at Las Palmas comes in a huge glass.  I forgot to take a picture of the glass of ceviche, but took at picture of ceviche after I took it out of the glass and put it on a plate:

We also ordered chicken enchiladas con mole – it’s 3 enchiladas with delicious mole sauce, and they come with the sides of Spanish rice and refried beans:

We also ordered banana enchiladas con mole – inside these enchiladas are fried bananas, and they taste so delicious in combination with melted cheese and mole sauce.  I love the chocolate mole sauce!
