Cranberry And Goat Cheese Bruschetta

Colors, colors everywhere!  This bright red appetizer wonder adds such an amazing pop of color, it just screams “Take me”!  If I have to describe this cranberry goat cheese bruschetta in one word, it would be “Festive”.  If I had to describe it in 4 words, it would be “Festive Crunchy Easy Yum”!  This is the easiest holiday appetizer ever, anyone can put this together in 15 minutes or less!

All you need to do to make this yummy cranberry bruschetta is brush the french baguette slices with olive oil, bake for 7 minutes, then spread them with goat cheese and cranberry sauce and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.  You can use either homemade cranberry sauce or store-bought.  Super easy and hassle free!

Did you know that the bakery department of the large supermarkets can slice the French baguette for you?  I actually didn’t know it until I saw one customer leave the bakery isle with a huge bag of baguette slices!  They have those bread slicing machines that cut the bread into perfect slices in secons, and it’s such a time saver!

This appetizer is also very budget friendly.  Those huge French baguettes are about $2, a can of cranberry sauce is $2, and a small log of goat cheese is $4.  If you use up all these supplies, that would make a double batch of this cranberry goat cheese bruschetta at a total of $8.  Can you imagine – two huge trays of this colorful delicious cranberry bruschetta enough to serve 20 people as an appetizer for just $8?  Amazing!

Goat cheese and cranberry sauce go so well together, they are a perfect combo.  Cranberry sauce brings out the sweet notes of goat cheese and together they are simply amazing!  If you’d like, you can substitute goat cheese with Brie or any other spreadable cheese – they’ll all taste great on this cranberry bruschetta!  I love cheese and just can’t get enough :)  If you are a fellow cheese lover, check out my easy baked Brie appetizer – you’ll love it!  Also, easy stuffed mushrooms recipe is awesome!
