This is my favorite green salad – a simply outstanding salad of baby spinach, candied pecans, dried cranberries, oranges, avocado and feta cheese. This combination of flavors is a winner, and the salad tastes even better than it sounds. I served this salad on my holiday table, and it was a huge hit! This salad looks impressive and tastes impressive :) I make my own candied pecans for this salad – making them at home is surprisingly easy! But of course you can use store-bought candied pecans as well. Baby Spinach Salad With Candied Pecans And Dried Cranberries Preparation time: 5 minute(s) Number of servings: 4 Salad Ingredients: 1 bag (8 oz) of baby spinach leaves 1 can of orange segments, drained 1 avocado 1 cup candied pecans (see homemade candied pecans recipe, or you can use store-bought) 1 handful of dried cranberries 1 handful of crumbled feta cheese 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice Salt and pepper to taste Directions: Peel an avocado and cut into chunks. In a cup, mix the olive oil and lemon juice with a fork. In a large bowl, add baby spinach leaves, dried cranberries, orange segments, avocado chunks, feta [...]

Tuna salad recipe is very easy and needs just 3 ingredients – tuna, egg and mayo. I always have some canned tuna in my pantry, so if I don’t know what to make for lunch, I can quickly make a tuna salad. You can eat tuna salad by itself, wrap it in a tortilla for a tuna salad wrap, or put it between two slices of bread to make a tuna salad sandwich. Tuna salad sandwich is my favorite way to eat a tuna salad :) Ingredients For A Tuna Salad: 1 small can of tuna 2 hard-boiled eggs, peeled 3 tbsp of mayo Directions How To Make Tuna Salad: Open the tuna and drain the liquid. Put the tuna in a bowl. Add the hard-boiled eggs to the tuna. Mash the eggs and tuna with a fork. Add the mayo and mix. That’s all there is to it :) Tuna salad tastes best cold from the refrigerator. If you can, make the tuna salad an hour ahead and refrigerate. Enjoy this super-easy tuna salad! Don’t you want to bite into this tuna salad sandwich?

This yummy healthy salad consists of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers and green onions. Green onions (also called spring onions or scallions) give this salad a kick! Green onions add a crunchy, zesty and spicy taste to this healthy colorful salad. Most people are used to eating salads made with regular onions, and spring onions are an unexpected pungent ingredient. Even though green onions are very common vegetables, for some reason they are not commonly added to salads. Well, it’s time for a change! Add green onions to your salad once, and you’ll want to do it again and again. Salad Ingredients: 2 tomatoes 1 cucumber 2 stalks of green onions (scallions) 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 1 tsp vinegar Salt and pepper to taste Directions How To Make The Salad With Tomatoes, Cucumbers And Green Spring Onions (Scallions): Chop the tomatoes. Peel and chop the cucumbers. Chop the green spring onions (both green and white parts) into very small pieces. Put all chopped vegetables in a bowl. Whisk olive oil and vinegar in a cup to make a dressing. Add the dressing to the vegetables and mix. Add salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy eating your healthy salad with tomatoes, cucumbers [...]

I love the combination of salad greens with sliced strawberries. This is the perfect summer salad that tastes so fresh! The taste of strawberry slices really enhances the crispy greens, and together they make such a healthy delicious treat! Green salad with sliced strawberries looks really fancy and gourmet. The best part is that it only takes a couple of minutes to make! For this salad you need 3 things: salad greens, strawberries and dressing. For the salad greens, you can use any kind of packaged salad greens, or you can use a fresh head of lettuce. If using the head of lettuce, separate the leaves, wash them, tear them into pieces and dry in a salad spinner. For the dressing, you can use a bottled Italian dressing, or you can make your own dressing by mixing oil and vinegar at the ratio of 1 tbsp of oil to 1 tsp of vinegar. Since you are slicing the strawberries, each strawberry produces many slices. Therefore, you only need 2 to 3 strawberries per person. This salad is assembled and served on the individual plates (as opposed to one big salad bowl). This is because the strawberry slices are arranged on [...]

Here’s a quick refreshing salad you can make that uses just 3 ingredients: tomatoes, avocado and onion. For a portion for 2 people, you need 3 medium tomatoes, 1 avocado and 1 small onion. To make this super-easy salad, first you need to chop the tomatoes, and put the tomatoes and any juice that leaked out during chopping in a bowl. Next, peel and finely chop the onion, and add chopped onion to the tomatoes. Finally, peel and chop the avocado, and add the chopped avocado to tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. For this salad, you don’t even need any dressing. The juice from the tomatoes and the buttery avocado make an instant dressing right in the bowl! Enjoy the summer flavor from this delicious salad!

Pieces of cauliflower are very crunchy and refreshing, and are a perfect pairing with crispy lettuce. I also added some parsley to this salad for an additional healthy flavor. This salad is super-healthy and tastes so fresh! Ingredients For Green Salad With Cauliflower: Cauliflower Lettuce Parsley Olive Oil Vinegar or lemon juice Salt and pepper How To Make Green Salad With Cauliflower: Chop cauliflower florets into very small pieces. Chop the parsley. Tear the lettuce leaves into pieces (or just use pre-packaged lettuce from the bag). Put the lettuce on a plate, then spinkle wtih parsley and put cauliflower on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Make a dressing with 3 parts of oil to 1 part of vinegar (or lemon juice). Drizzle the dressing over the salad. Enjoy this yummy fresh cauliflower green salad!
