Banana Soft Serve Dairy Free Ice Cream Recipe

This banana soft serve is a yummy frozen dessert that looks and tastes quite similar to ice cream. It is cold, sweet, soft and smooth – delicious!

Banana soft serve is completely dairy free and vegan, in fact it only has one ingredient – bananas. So if you are looking for a dairy free ice cream recipe, this is it :)

If you are allergic to milk or lactose intolerant, the great news is that you can still eat this banana dairy-free ice cream! Or if you are looking for a vegan dessert that doesn’t use any animal products, this recipe would be perfect. Best of all, you can make it easily at home without an ice cream maker. All you need is a freezer – no ice cream machine required!

This recipe is super easy and takes just 1 minute to make. One ingredient recipe that takes just one minute to make – what can beat that?

The only thing to remember is that you need to have frozen bananas on hand. You can have a stash of frozen bananas in your freezer just for this recipe :) If you have too many bananas in the house and think they might get wasted, you can save them by freezing! To freeze bananas, cut them into large chunks (about 8 chunks for banana), put them in a ziploc bag and put in a freezer.

  1. The first time I saw this I thought, I like bananas, but does it make a difference if they’re frozen?? Now I make this all the time. I have to use a little bit of almond milk because my blender isn’t powerful enough to handle just the bananas, & it’s really delicious. Your blog is great; I use recipes from it all the time and so does my older son who likes to cook one meal a week for the family.
